The Central Texas Birth Center offers traditional midwifery care. Your chosen midwife will attend to you throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum care.
Midwife, Clinical Director, Owner
Salli is the owner and clinical director of the Central Texas Birth Center. She has been in birth work for over 20 years as a doula and a midwife and gave birth to four of her six children at home. Salli is a powerful advocate for mothers and babies. She is passionate about mentoring families in holistic birth care, nutrition, breastfeeding and parenting.
Licensed Midwife
Janixa has been serving the birthing women since 2014, starting out as a doula and working her way to become a Midwife through the Mercy In Action program. As a Latina and an Afro-Caribbean she finds passion in connecting to the community and is fluent in Spanish. She believes in empowering women to feel in control of their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with compassion and tenderness.

April is your resource for understanding all areas of birthing outside of the hospital, from insurance to being informed on your birth choices. She is also our in-house herbalist and encapsulates placentas for CTBC mamas.
Office Assistant and Birth Assistant
Michele is one of our biggest assets at the center, taking care of our clients over the phone and in the office with care and heart. She makes everyday lovely, setting up snacks, drinks, and diffusers to make you feel taken care of at every moment of your time in our care. She loves deeply and her love for the birth center shows.
Student Midwife and Birth Assistant
Katie has been a birth and postpartum doula in the community and is now a birth assistant at the CTBC. She is passionate about the transformative ways of birth and motherhood from her own experiences as a mother and serves women from this place. She is excited to start her new journey as a student midwife through the ATM program.
